1 Overall Job Purpose

1.1 Responsible for the coordination of the Company’s maintenance plans implementation onboard the FPSO in collaboration with the offshore Superintendents and OIM in order to ensure compliance with Class, Statutory, International and Local Regulatory requirements and Company’s Maintenance Philosophy regarding the maintenance and integrity of the safety, process, marine and structural systems of the FPSO by:

• Ensuring attendance with maintenance contractual and Company’s KPI’s;

• Providing process and equipment data and information for periodic review of FPSO efficiency, availability and reliability with the aim to optimize and improve the maintenance strategy;

• Developing risk-based maintenance techniques and philosophy, asset management fundamentals and operational lessons learned;

• Maintaining the integrity of the CMMS System by liaising with CMMS Specialist;

• Leading maintenance improvement effort whilst providing oversight on maintenance cost management;

• Providing mentoring, coaching, support and guidance to the other Discipline Engineers, Maintenance & Marine & Production Superintendents and maintenance personnel regarding maintenance techniques development, reviews and analyses as part of maintenance continuous improvement;

• Liaising with all departments and stakeholders to ensure the Maintenance Management Framework and CMMS System are supported, consistent with the MOSEN business objectives.

2 Core Responsibilities

2.1 Act as the first channel for technical support for the Maintenance crew, involving the other engineers whenever needed.

2.2 Assure Company’s maintenance plans run onboard the FPSO in collaboration with the offshore Superintendents and OIM.

2.3 Ensure Predictive Analysis such as Vibration, Thermography, Oil Analysis, and Lubrication among other techniques are being carried out appropriately in the designated vessels within the fleet designated to his onshore base, considering inclusive coordination between Operations and Maintenance Team, Integrated Activities Planner and Supply Chain.

2.4 Analyze Predictive Analysis Reports and coordinate the actions to be taken in due time in order to make sure the efficiency, availability and reliability of FPSO Systems will not be affected by unplanned maintenance or breakdowns.

2.5 Elaborate, Review and Coordinate the scope of work for all major breakdowns, planned and corrective maintenance. Making sure all Resources, material and manpower, and Tools are available onboard to carry on the job upon previous agreed schedules in liaison with Integrated Activities Planner.

2.6 Perform RCA for major or frequent breakdowns in order to identify the root causes and implement the corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence. Including revision of CMMS Plans and Operations Procedure.

2.7 Report in a monthly basis Company and Contractual-Maintenance KPIs for the FPSO, proposing actions to rectify the deviations, if any.

2.8 Review/Assist Buyers in regarding to define technical scope for services or technical specification for goods.

2.9 Communicate daily with the Maintenance Superintendent to coordinate and monitor the execution of the CMMS Plans and Integrated Activities Plan. Providing support wherever required to overcome the challenges.

2.10 Act as a quality control – QC, if required, when major repairs or overhauls are performed at a Third-Party Workshops assuring MODEC Standards are followed.

2.11 Support the Operations Manager on Managing & maintain the FPSO Maintenance and Integrity budget deliverables.

2.12 Support the Operations Manager on Maintenance and Integrity Budget preparations.

2.13 Demonstrate ownership of own training requirements and proactively arrange training to be done/renewed in time as per MODEC Integrated Management System.

6 Job Challenges and Problem Solving

6.1 Develop technical troubleshooting that may involve any equipment onboard, due to equipment failure or eventual incidents.

6.2 Liaise with other team members and develop teamwork, because of the multicultural team environment.

6.3 Ensure the performance standards meet the requirements to achieve Company and Contractual Maintenance KPIs for the FPSO, due to possible deviations during operations and the multidisciplinary team involved.

6.4 Monitor and promote MODEC HSEQ MS Policy to ensure effective implementation on FPSO, because of the possible use of third parties for maintenance services onboard the FPSO.

6.5 Ensure that the maintenance costs are identified and processed according to Company budgetary operating procedures as well as MOSEN internal budget, because of the operational bias of the activity few goods/services may not be predictable.

7 Qualifications & Experience

7.1 Educational Qualification:

Required: Engineering Degree

Expected: Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering; Post-Graduation; MBA or equivalent;

7.2 Certifications:

Active Engineering council registration or equivalent;

7.3 Trainings: Complies with the Training Matrix and Regulatory and Required by Modec Training Management Procedure, available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

7.4 Relevant Experience:

+ 10-year experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

+ 10-year experience in risk based asset integrity related to equipment maintenance and reliability management (development, review and continuous improvement).

Detailed knowledge of Asset Management (ISO55000) and ISO14224 application and implementation.

Good knowledge and understanding of the applicable Local and International Regulations and Standards requirements for Oil & Gas Industry.

Detailed knowledge and understanding of the work structure of the CMMS System.

8 Working Conditions

8.1 Complies with safety and occupational health conditions for the job position according to the Occupational Health Management Procedure, available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).

8.2 Office, Senegal with regular offshore trips to the FPSO.
