1 Overall, Job Purpose
1.1 • Responsible for directing the Offshore activities related to Asset Integrity. ·
• The Offshore Integrity Engineer shall be the offshore MODEC representative for all inspection and anomaly liquidation activities.
• Manage the offshore planning, coordination, execution, and supervision of asset integrity inspections.
• Provide oversight on the execution of safety critical inspections executed on the Facility. Lead and co-ordinate high quality integrity management activities for the Facility.
• Provide integrity repair recommendations, remaining life data and anomaly liquidation prioritization based on risk using AIMS.
• Assure that the integrity management system and required SAP work orders for the Facility is enacted offshore by the required due date in order to meet RBI plan and KPI.
• Ensure compliance with Class, Statutory, International and Local Regulatory requirements regard to the integrity of the process, marine and structural systems of the FPSO.
• Develop wherever required risk-based inspection techniques and philosophy, asset management fundamentals and operational lessons learned.
• Liaises with all departments and stakeholders to ensure the Inspection and Integrity Management Framework and CMMS System are supported, consistent with the MOSEN business objectives.
• Provide support and guidance to the offshore inspection and fabric maintenance personnel when required, and support for onshore personnel during offshore visits as required.
• Shall provide technical oversight and responsible for asset integrity in the following areas:
Pressure containing equipment including Piping, Vessels, PSVs.
Topside safety critical structures.
Fabric maintenance/repairs ü Life extensions/ degradation of aged assets
Compliance with ABS Class requirements. ü Integrity compliance, backlog, and residual risk.
CMMS alignment with Integrity plans/performance standards.
Materials, Corrosion and Chemical Injection related issues. ü Fitness for Service of pressure retaining equipment.
Provide technical direction, support, and advice to Senegal Team
2 Core Responsibilities
2.1 Acts as the offshore focal point for all Integrity Inspection and anomaly liquidation activities. Including but not limited to topside and marine pressure systems, PSVs and topside structures.
2.2 Responsible for the offshore planning, coordination, execution and supervision of asset integrity inspections and anomaly liquidation.
2.3 Planning – ensure the Onshore Integrity and Asset Management Teams and offshore planner are aware of the necessary resources required for all planned work and given estimates of required resources when necessary. Makes requests for resources 90 days in advance of requirement.
2.4 Coordination – act as a point of contact and liaison between offshore operations, Inspection Teams, FM Team and Onshore Integrity Team.
2.5 Execution – ensure all inspection reports are fully reviewed and approved for accuracy and clarity and track progress of inspections against plan. Carry out, when required visual inspection of pressure equipment and
structural items and ensure prompt notification of Onshore Integrity team of any significant integrity concerns resulting from inspections.
2.6 Supervision - establish and maintain a strong safety culture in line with Company values. Also responsible for ensuring offshore teams comply with HSE legislation, company standards and procedures under area of responsibility to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.
2.7 Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for improvement and be responsible for implementation following agreement with Onshore Integrity Team.
2.8 Reporting - Provide Onshore Integrity Team with regular reports, both verbal and written, with analysis and comment on performance and results.
2.9 Execution - close out SAP work orders ensuring inspections/jobs completed by 3rd party complies to MODEC standards and PRT requirements.
2.10 Execution – Ensure inspection data from Inspection company meets the MODEC requirements for accurate upload into AIMS.
2.11 Execution – responsible for the accuracy of inspection data and recommendations uploaded to AIMS.
2.12 Execution – responsible for ensuring in-service inspection of PRD is done as per CLP/PV RBIs. To review audit execution of PSV bench testing, repairs and replacements.
2.13 Training - Mentor and Shadow Nationals to ensure effective knowledge and skills transfer as per Company Nationalization Plan.
2.14 Coordination - Liaises with all departments and stakeholders offshore to ensure the Inspection Plan is up to date and supported, consistent with the MODEC & Client business objectives.
2.15 Risk Based Inspection Assessments – provides inputs to risk-based inspection assessments in order to ensure risk levels are reviewed and adjusted following inspection
2.16 Deferral – Has ability to raise deferral requests for TA review and approval
2.17 Accountability – offshore owner of the temporary repair register and populates all required information in AIMS.
2.18 Compliance – complies with Company’s procedures offshore. Contributes to improvements during time of revision.

3.4 Ensure that Emergency Response capabilities are constantly maintained. Member of the Emergency Response Group.
3.5 Encourage employee participation in areas of safety, environmental protection and technical integrity as per requirements of the Safety Case.
3.6 Ensure all resources are available where required to efficiently ensure continued technical integrity of the MODEC FPSO/FSO.
3.7 Ensure that a communication forum for HSSEQ exists.
3.8 Ensure that training resources for HSSEQ are available.
3.9 Encourage behavior observation systems.
4 Financial and Operational Dimensions/Impact and Decision-making Authority (if applicable)
4.1 • Provide input to the Onshore Integrity Team when resources need to be estimated for inspection or remediation work scopes.
• Review technical deviations/changes to normal operating windows.
• Conduct root cause analysis.

5 Work Relationships
5.1 • As per indication on the Organizational Chart, available in the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Work jointly with Onshore O&M, Offshore Supervisors and their Support teams to establish continuous improvement to the inspection and remediation processes and drive results.
• Day to Day reporting: Onshore Integrity Engineer and OIM. Attends onshore Dakar office for minimum 1 full day per swing for briefing/de-briefing.
• Direct Reports: NDT/API Inspectors, Fabric Maintenance Contractor (as required for high priority anomalies).
• Self-starter, ability to work independently and works unsupervised and manage multiple work-streams.
• Regular contact with the onshore MODEC Integrity Team in Lisbon.
• Regular engagement with the offshore supervisors and OIM
• Regular contact with maintenance personnel to make arrangements for inspection/remediation works
• Regular engagement with the discipline Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and related Ops and maintenance personnel when inspection is required by them

7 Qualifications & Experience
7.1 Educational Qualification:
7.2 • Tertiary education expected – engineering preferred but extensive operational experience in similar environments equally valid.
• Mechanical Technical.
7.3 Relevant Experience:
• 10+ years’ experience in oil and gas industry, with 5+ years minimum FPSO experience.
• Experience with Offshore is mandatory.
• Experience with FPSO is mandatory.
• Expert knowledge and understanding of the applicable legislative, international inspection standards for offshore Oil & Gas Facilities.
• Experienced in Vessel, Pipework and Structural inspection, preferably on an FPSO. Overseas and experience beneficial.
• Physical aptitude to work in an offshore environment.
• Detailed knowledge of API 510, 570, 579, 580, 581, 576 and 571.
• Required availability to move to Senegal and work offshore for the FPSO operation;
7.4 Language(s) and Software:
• Fluent English.
• Basic French is expected.
